Coffee Spill

I aimed to create a contemporary, decorative mural situated near Dongmyeong-dong, known for its constant emergences of hipster cafes. The artwork is designed to seamlessly blend into its surroundings at first glance, revealing nuanced details upon closer inspection. The cropped head, a vacant window, and opulent attire marred by an overflowing cup of black coffee convey a commentary on the desire for luxury in a flourishing economy, emphasising the theme of ‘excessive’ desires.
