A Blind Eye – Splash and Burn

‘Splash and Burn’ is a public awareness campaign led by street artist Ernest Zacharevic and curator Charlotte Platt. An initiative that addresses environmental issues, particularly focusing on deforestation and its impact. This initiative involves various artists who utilise their creative skills to raise awareness about the urgent need for forest conservation.

Gabriel’s contribution towards the project  drew inspiration from the tangible challenges faced by the local communities in the region. Their pressing economic concerns often took precedence over considerations of the rainforest.
